Michelle Bell

Michelle grew up in British Columbia, Canada. Upon graduating high school, she started in working in an optometry office, finding our she loved eye care, and became a certified optometrist assistant. After getting married, she moved to Idaho, and then to Glendale, Arizona (where her husband, Dr. Bell, attended optometry school).

After Dr. Bell graduated optometry school in 2019, she and her family set their sights on Alaska. She loves the small town feel that Fairbanks has and loves the outdoor activities. Fairbanks has so much of the small town in which she grew up in southern British Columbia. Since moving to Alaska, and with more time to dedicate to non-family responsibilities, she has started working at Fairbanks Eye Clinic part-time. She loves being able to make the patients' experience enjoyable and happy, always with a smile! 😃

Michelle enjoys running, hiking, camping, homeschooling her four kids, and, for that matter, any activity that involves my family. Oh, besides cats, dogs, and fish at her home, the Bells also have chickens!
