Dr. Terry Bell
Terry Bell, OD, attended Snake River High School in Blackfoot, Idaho. After graduating high school in 2003, Dr. Bell went to Brigham Young University - Idaho, in Rexburg, Idaho. After graduating from BYU-I, Dr. Bell completed his optometric training at Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University, in Phoenix, Arizona. Shortly after completing optometry school, he heeded the call of the wild, moving to North Pole, Alaska in 2019.
Dr. Bell has been a lifelong outdoorsman and, like Blackfoot, found the appeal of Fairbanks' relatively small size and exceptional small and closely connected community too attractive to resist. He, his wife, Michelle, and his four children love the Interior's wide open spaces and the close camaraderie between the folks who call Fairbanks home. At the Bell home, there are dogs, cats, clown fish, and a herd of chickens. Yes, a herd - because if those chickens aren't brought snacks, they will trample any offender down!
Dr. Bell has been practicing optometry since 2019. What he cherishes the most is building trust with his patients. This trust, he knows, comes from years of providing considerate and knowledgable eye care.
